Bowen Zhang, CPA
Bowen joined Isler Northwest LLC from 2016-2018 as a new graduate and rejoined in 2022 as a supervisor. In the interim, she worked at a CPA firm in Bellevue, Washington, and a “Big 4” CPA firm as a tax manager leading a variety of projects and sophisticated client cases.
Through her work in different regions and types of CPA firms, Bowen has gained a wide range of experience. She is specialized in both private domestic and international tax laws, with extensive cross-border tax knowledge. She also has experience with many foreign jurisdictions’ tax systems and treaties; and has helped U.S. clients with international backgrounds from all over the world.
She has focused her practice on helping high-net-worth individuals and their families achieve their goals and assisting pass-through entities and corporations on matters impacting their business operation— in industries such as Asset Management, Real Estate, Technology, Healthcare, and Retail.
Bowen received a Bachelor’s degree from Beijing Forestry University in Accounting, and a Master’s degree from Portland State University in Financial Analysis.
She was born and raised in Beijing, China, and has always had a keen interest in learning about diverse cultures. She has volunteered as a program anchor for Chinese Radio Seattle for many years and is actively involved in various local academic and general volunteer activities to help minority and immigrant families.
Bowen is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Washington Society of CPAs, California Board of Accountancy, and Oregon Society of CPAs.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling with her husband, family and friends, sampling world cuisine, studying cooking, floristry, film, literature, and art. She also has a deep love and interest in nature and animals.
